TensorTonic is a hands-on AI/ML learning platform where engineers learn by implementing and building things themselves, from ML fundamentals and landmark research papers to modern AI systems.
We're looking for a GTM / Growth Intern to work directly with the founder on growing TensorTonic across users, communities, and universities.
This is not a role where you'll just schedule posts or maintain spreadsheets. You'll be expected to identify opportunities, run experiments, talk to users, reach out to potential partners, and figure out what works.
What you'll work on
- Own growth experiments across acquisition, activation, and retention.
- Talk to users and turn what you learn into clear product and distribution experiments.
- Test channels across technical content, creators, communities, and universities.
- Turn technical launches and content into repeatable growth loops.
- Take experiments from idea through execution, measurement, and iteration.
Who we're looking for
You might be a good fit if you:
- Communicate clearly and feel comfortable reaching out to people you do not know.
- Can take an ambiguous problem and figure out what to do without waiting for detailed instructions.
- Think in experiments and measurable outcomes.
- Are genuinely interested in startups, AI, developer products, or technical communities.
- Can research an audience deeply, use AI tools effectively, and move quickly without producing sloppy work.
You do not need to be an ML engineer, but you should be curious enough about AI to understand the people we're building for.
Bonus
Experience at an early-stage startup, growing a product or community, conducting user interviews, working with product analytics, marketing to technical audiences, or building useful automations will help. Building something of your own also counts, even if it failed.
